So my Lensbaby Muse, and macro kit came last week. And the first major things I took pictures of were some flowers my mom had. I think they look awesome with the effects the Lensbaby can create, and with how close and detailed I can still get with the macro lenses. Creates interesting areas of focus, and the lens blur around the sweet spot really forces your viewer to focus on the same thing you are. So, check out my flickr set and leave comments!

101 Things to Do in 1001 Days

Don’t settle for anyone. Get a design I’d want if I ever got a tattoo. Watch a meteor shower. Dress up for the historical society in 1800’s fashion. Go on a real picnic with friends. Go clubbing. Plant some potted flowers and keep them alive. Introduce a friend to the wonder that is Sherman’s ice cream. Leave a 50 - 100% tip for great service. Memorize a poem. Read 50 fictions books [0/50] Cover a wall in pictures I've taken. Get rid of one piece of furniture in my bedroom at home. Photograph the Northern Lights. Create my websites and maintain them. Have a piece of writing published. Start keeping index cards of what books I’ve read. Take 100 Photographs I like enough to print out and store in a photo album. [0/100] Make 100 Icons 100x100 size for fun. [0/100] Get rid of 100 things I don’t need in one week. Save $1000 in savings and don’t touch it. Learn to French braid and get good at it. Write a future wedding guest list for fun. Frame and display my own photography. Find out how soon I could get my own cat. Play RISK or some version of it more. Play chess at least once a month for a year. [0/12] Send five postcards through Post Crossing to 5 different countries. [0/5] Take pictures in a photo booth. Meet at least one person from YWS. Find happiness being single. Give away 30 happy paintings. But don’t be afriaid to fall in love. Love and be loved.
